This week-end in Paris : Nature Capitale on the Avenue des Champs Elysees19.05.2010

Nature lovers, do not miss Nature Capitale, the spectacular event which will take place in Paris on 22, 23 and 24 May.

This exceptional creation by artists Gad Weil (creator of street art) and Laurence Medioni (artist and landscape architect) will be seen, sensed and admired on the Champs Elysees, which will be closed to traffic from the Rond Point to the Arc de Triomphe.
 
Nature Capitale will be installed on the cobblestones of the Champs-Elysees on the evening of May 22, International Day of Biological Diversity, for one night and two days, during which the famous Avenue will become an extraordinary large garden of about three hectares ; visitors can then possibly acquire plots.

The circuit of Les Cars Rouges will be slightly modified : stop Grand Palais will be moved to the corner of Cours La Reine and the Avenue Winston Churchill, and stop Champs Elysees will be moved on the Place de l'Etoile, between the two avenues Champs Elysees and Friedland.
