  “ Good introduction of Paris if you have a few days, skims the surface."

We visited Paris as a Daytrip from London (Paris deserves more than one day, but it was spontaneous). Since we had such a limited amount of time to cover the main sights, we decided to use Les Cars Rouges. We booked online to receive 10% discount and exchange our vouchers (received by mail) for tickets on the bus.

The route has  9 stops and takes 2 hours and 15 minutes for the whole circuit. We chose to pay the 24 euros for this hop on/off bus tour because it was hassle free and stopped right near the major tourist attractions. Les Car Rouges is great if you have very limited time in Paris, if you want to get your bearings or if you want easy access to all the main sights.

You get a pair of headphones on the bus and the commentary runs through the whole route and is quite interesting. If you have a week or more in Paris, take your time to learn Paris public transport, but if you are pushed for time like we were, this bus tour is a great introduction to Paris.

We went in July, so it was very hot. We sat on the top deck to catch the breeze, which was nice. Waiting time was minimal because there was always a bus every 5-10 minutes. Highly recommended, enjoy your time in Paris.”
