The data collected when the ticket order is placed is essential for printing out the tickets (vouchers). This data is accessible only to Les Cars Rouges and may be stored by them. No third party is given access to this personal data
In accordance with the law passed on 6th January 1978 concerning computer files and freedom of information, any person who leaves details on this site in his or her name, has the right to access these details, to modify them in any way or to remove them.
The right to such access may be requested in writing, and sent by post to the Director of publication.
All graphic and written material on this site is covered by French and international laws of copyright.
The written material may be printed out on paper for educational use only and if the following three conditions are met: that the material be distributed free of charge, that the material be reproduced in its entirety, and that the site name and address be clearly and legibly indicated as its source.

The ticket price is stated in euros. All sales taxes (VAT: 7%) are included. No ticket may be resold at a price higher than its face value.
any online order, from whatever source, must be paid for in euros.
On board the Cars Rouges buses, payment for tickets may be made in cash, euros or other currency ($US or £GBP), by French bank cheque or postal cheque, or by holiday voucher (cheque vacances).
Management of the payment system is undertaken on behalf of Les Cars Rouges by ATOS Origin, a company specialising in secure online payments. Les Cars Rouges guarantees the confidentiality of bank details, protected by the SIPS protocol which systematically checks the validity of the right to access during payment by bank card and codes all exchanges so as to ensure total confidentiality.
Clicking on "Validate" at the end of the order implies definite and unconditional acceptance of the order and of the terms and conditions of sale. The information recorded during the ordering process constitutes legal proof of the transaction.
The voucher is only valid if it is printed by ink-jet or laser printer on both sides of a sheet of blank white A4 paper, no modification of the printing format (vertical) must be made. No other version will be accepted (i.e. on-screen of a laptop, screen capture, etc.).
Vouchers must be printed correctly. If they are only partially printed, or if they are damaged, soiled or illegible, they will not be accepted. If the voucher prints out badly, reprint and follow the instructions on the website carefully. Les Cars Rouges is not responsible for any anomaly that may occur during the printing of vouchers.
The voucher is non refundable. It is titular and non transferable.
When boarding a Car Rouge, the customer shall present a voucher in his or her name and be prepared to show identification accompanied by a photo (passport, identity card or resident's permit). In return, the driver-conductor shall give the customer in exchange a Cars Rouges ticket (Blue Card type) dated from the first day of use.
This ticket must be kept during the whole period of use, i.e. for two consecutive days. The ticket may have to be produced for inspection on board.
Tickets may not be exchanged or refunded. In case of loss or theft, Les Cars Rouges declines all responsibility.
Under Act n°2004-575 of 21st June 2004, article L 121-20-3 of the consumer code of practice, Les Cars Rouges is responsible for ensuring that the duties and obligations ensuing from this contract shall be carried out.
The sale of vouchers specified in this document is governed by French law.
In case of legal proceedings, these shall take place under the aegis of the Court of Appeal of Paris, or any other equivalent French court outside Paris.
